Chelsea’s Youth Revolution – Hato, Gittens & Delap Arrive

🔹 The Signings

Chelsea have stepped up their youth-first recruitment strategy by completing the signings of:

  • Jorrel Hato (from Ajax): The 19-year-old Dutch defender has signed a long-term deal until 2032. Highly rated for his versatility as a left-back and centre-back, he brings composure and defensive intelligence.

  • Jamie Gittens (from Borussia Dortmund): The English winger joins until 2032 after over 100 appearances in Bundesliga and Champions League combined, known for his quick feet and fearless attacking runs.

  • Liam Delap (from Stoke City): After an impressive Championship season with 12 goals, the 21-year-old striker has been signed until 2031 and is tipped as one for the future.

🔹 What It Means

These moves continue Chelsea’s massive investment in under-21 talent, with a view to building long-term squad depth. Head coach Enzo Maresca appears committed to blending young potential with his tactical structure. With Cole Palmer already breaking records, Chelsea now look even more dangerous in the years ahead
